FAQ   Back to Spoon&Spoon
Here are some of the main questions we get asked about Spoon&Spoon Wedding Photography and our services:

1. How many photographs do we get in the end, and how can we print extra copies?
We do not charge for re-prints and give you all images from your wedding as hi-resolution files on a CD that you can later print in any High Street photo shop with excellent quality. Wedding photographers usually charge over £200 for a CD, but we think it is a blatant rip-off as weddings are already expensive! We think that the fee that you pay for our work means that you should own the actual product of our work with no additional charges! There will be a limited number of selected photographs that we will print for you, and that is specified for each package individually.
We recommend that you use Jessops for this. They print well and with good colour& contrast. Jessops shops can be found in any High Street, and all you have to do is to bring your CD with you. Just ask an assistant if unsure how to order your photos.
2. Do you travel to wedding locations outside Devon?

Yes, we do. We work across the southwest of England. In fact, most of our work comes from those lovely places in Cornwall. We are currently launching our Spanish branch, which means that soon we will be also covering northern Spain.

A small travel/mileage fee will be charged for venues 30 miles outside of Exeter area, so please contact us for a quote.

3. How many photographers will work on our wedding?
Yelena will be your main photographer. She will be there with you for the bridal preparations. Agustin will work as a second back-up or assisant photographer covering additional angles of your special day! Spoon&Spoon reserve the right to limit it to just one main photographer due to the unpredictable circumstances. The couple will be informed if such change takes place.
5. What if your camera breaks down during the wedding?
This is another reason for having 2 photographers working on your wedding. In case the equipment fails, there will still be another photographer with the back-up equipment to cover the rest of the day. We also carry additional camera equipment for back-up on the day with us.
6. What does stylised and retouched mean?

Spoon&Spoon Photography images stand out because they have a particular style. Whether colour or BW, they are bright, contrasty and stylised to suit each individual wedding. It is hard to explain what style means in each case, just have a look at our images gallery, and you will see it. Our images do not look as snap shots. Most of them work as a beautiful documentation and portrait pieces.

In addition, come close-up images will be treated for skin/detail imperfections to make the portrait work. This does not mean that if, for example, you have bad skin, we will retouch all images to make your skin look perfect. However, we do offer full aribrushing and retouching services on top of any package. Please enquire about prices if that is something that you might be interested in.

7. Can I request some formal picutres taken of my family and friends?
We do not usually take formal posed photos during the wedding unless you specifically request some. In case of specific groups of family and friends required, we would ask that you appoint someone from your guests to assist us with recognising the people and grouping them for each photograph. Only you can know who is who at your wedding!
